For more information about the campaign, check out the FAQ page.
Inspired by and loosely based on the NY Institute’s annual Yoga-thon events, we’ve opted to name our event Yog-a-thon West! Yog-a-thon West, is an opportunity for the LA Yoga community to come together, have some fun and raise some money to support the continued presence of an Iyengar Yoga Institute in Los Angeles. On August 11th, 1999 a rare Total Solar Eclipse occurred at 11:11 AM over Cornwall, the southwestern tip of England, the place of Arthurian legends and the Holy Grail. Its path was 111 kilometers wide. After this Eclipse, Yogi Bhajan said: "If you don't meditate regularly after this, then God Bless you."
Winter Solstice 2012, occurs at 11:11 AM Universal Time (1:11 PM Cairo local time at the pyramids).
The 11:11 Phenomenon is the world-wide re-occurrence of people seeing the digits 11:11 on digital clocks, phones and other electronic devices. 11:11 is a mathematical-energetic key, an opening of forces outside this physical reality matrix.
When you see 11:11 you have a precious opportunity: Stop, chant, and project your positive prayers. The universal force is open at that time to receive your thoughts.
Join us on Sunday, November 11th as we use the Gong to travel through the 11:11 portal and merge our consciousness with the clear luminous space of non-duality. Infuse yourself with the high frequency energy that brings healing, happiness and prosperity.
