for those of you unfamiliar with these musicians, here are their bios:

TONY KHALIFE is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and tabla player who captivates his audience with a brilliant interweaving of Indian, Middle-Eastern, Flamenco and Rock 'n Roll styles. His original blend of world music inspires a vision of global unity and peace. The tones and nuances interact in harmony and evolve rhythmically toward a greater resolution. Arabic lyrics flow over rocking guitar, bass and drums, twisting melodies and weaving through western harmonies with sitar and delruba, all the elements interact together producing a greater collage of a world united through music.

The SHAMAN'S DREAM World Groove Ensemble is a collective of Los Angeles based musicians and dancers dedicated to building community though world music, ecstatic dance and sacred ritual. Craig Kohland and Shaman's Dream create improvisational world music for the ecstatic movement meditation process which is facilitated by producer, dancer and yoga instructor, Micheline Berry. Much of our skill as an ensemble lies our ability to fuse a variety of musical influences. In one performance we may transition from ambient to funk, from West to North African, from Balinese to Middle Eastern, from traditional world fusion to techno/electronica.

NAKED RHYTHM was born in Los Angeles in 2003 as a collaborative effort between Avi Sills and Alex Spurkel with a vision of breaking down borders and bringing the world together with cross-cultural music and dance. By seamlessly fusing exotic world music and percussion with contemporary electronic dance grooves, Naked Rhythm captivates Western audiences with the universal language of rhythm and sounds of the Middle-East, India, Africa, and South America. The result is an innovative and organic form of World electronica that moves the heart as well as the hips.

i'll see you there!
